I want to tell you how pleased I am with the Windee Vents that I purchased for my home. I have been looking for years for a solution to the lack of flow in my three car garage. All though I have a gables fan in there, without adequate ventilations there is no positive airflow. Very limited choices and subpar quality has always prohibited me from resolving the airflow issues, until now.  (more…)

I wish I would have invested in WindeeVents sooner! I am amazed at how much the temperature actually drops in the garage with the vents installed. Our garage no longer has that “stuffy” feel. The cars stay cooler and I feel much better about the safety of the items we store in the garage. All garage doors should come with WindeeVents installed! (more…)

Why Didn’t We Invest In This Sooner?

I installed a single Windee Vents at my home in Denver, Colorado over a year ago. It is amazing how well a single unit has ventilated the garage in winter and summer. We had several months of cold and snow this winter and now the summer heat is reaching 100 degrees. I haven’t closed the vent since I put it in. Love these things!

Haven’t Closed The Vent Since We Put It In!
In the Tri-valley area of the San Francisco Bay Area, our temperatures get to around a dry 95-100 degrees in the summer. In the winter, it gets down into the low 30’s. These temperature swings create problems for garages, that often get to +110F in summer (or more with a hot car parked in it), and around 50F in winter. Think about your poor garage freezer that’s sitting in there, let alone you, who may need to work in the garage.
I installed a powered attic fan (1000CFM) for summer use but needed 3 square feet of return air (1 sq ft / 300CFM). I didn’t want to punch holes in my garage walls (stucco), and I needed the vents to be able to close/seal for winter. so these Windeevents were a Godsend! Here’s the quick and dirty:

Garage Door Vents

For our garage installation, we mounted both vents at the bottom because we have a continuous exhaust fan pulling air from the area. So far it is doing our intended purpose, thanks!

I also have an enclosed car hauler trailer (similar to a landscape lawn mower trailer)  with roof vents, there is nowhere outside air can be pulled from the outside to create a draw into trailer and exhaust the top roof vents. On the 48″  wide side door I mounted one of your vents, unreal the amount of air flow that is created when standing inside with the door closed, appears the heat exiting the top roof vents creates the cool air floor coming into trailer from your vent. WindeeVents Can Be Used In Enclosed Trailers Too!

“I just had these vents installed and wish I had done it sooner. I could immediately feel the breeze from outside coming into the garage. The crew arrived when promised, installation was quick and clean, and I had no issues getting approval from the HOA since it is not an eyesore. You can hardly tell they are there, once I painted them to match the garage. I even had to look twice to make sure I posted the correct picture. If you are having any issues with your HOA (I know how that goes – since I was President of our HOA for 17 years), just submit some of these before and after photos along with your ACC form. I’ve already had several neighbors stop by and ask about my vents. I can only take credit for making the decision to call. (more…)

Former HOA President Gives WindeeVents A Thumbs Up!

About 1 year ago, I was listening to the radio when I heard Clint Partridge talking about Windeevent and how it was great for the Garages in Texas, We were in process of building a custom home in Sugar Land and I called Clint and he was very informative and when I talked about us having Wooden Garage Doors, he told me he can send someone to look at it and let me know if it is possible or not. He also told me that I can wait until the home is built and then Windeevent can be installed. Finally our home is built and I called Clint last week and he came to our home with Adam who installs the Windeevent. They looked at the Wooden Garage doors and came up with a plan to install the Windeevent. (more…)
